Gordon Family Reunion
2009
My mom's mom is a Gordon. There is 1 boy and 7 girls. In the picture going from left to right is Dixie, Jenny(my Grandma), Libby, and Morie. They have lost there brother Dee and 3 girls, Alta, Susie, and Makie. But that doesn't stop us from getting together.
We had a lunch and talked to cousins. Reanna got to play with her cousin Sara (she is my cousins girl).
Then they started taking the kids for rides on the trains that my mom's cousin makes. The trains are pulled by mowers that the mower parts have been taken off. They they have flat wagons that has ride on toys bolted on them. The kids love them. They had 4 different trains running so there was not much of a wait.
Reanna loved it and after the reunion was over she was very sad and wonted to take a train home with her so if it is good weather for her b-day this is what she wants to do.
The horse was her favorite one she went on that one at least 4 times.
This is the next favorite one.

This is Dallon (my cousins boy)
This is Sara
Even the young at heart loved the train (my great aunt Morie)
My great aunt Dixie is the end car of the one that is on the side walk.
They also had a slip and slide that was a big hit with the kids. It took some talking but we finally got Reanna to do it. Then I couldn't get her off when it was time to go.

We all had a great time and can't wait for next year.

Look everyone I do have a girl!!!!! She got three dress up dresses for Christmas and yesterday and today have been the only times she put them on. She went to play with 2 girls that live by us. One of Wes's friends brought his twin 5 year old girls over to work on the bikes trying to get ready for a race and Reanna hit it off very well.
She had to walk down to see if she had mail. On the way back Wes pulled up in the dump truck. She is definitely dad's little girl.
She loves her daddy and her daddy only likes her a little. Thanks to dad she now knows that the van that drives around with music has ice cream for sale. So now every time she sees it she runs up to dad and asks him for one with one of her cute smiles that makes dad say yes dear. Look at her eyes, is that her dad or what.

The Barlow Family Camp out 2009.
We went to Sherrill and Sandra's house in Koosarem (thanks again for the use of your house and everything else). Sherrill, Sandra, Kaylee, Wes, Reanna, and I was able to go down a day early so we went to on a 4-wheeler ride and went fishing at upper box creak. Sherill was the lucky one and got the first fish. Reanna was so excited she wonted to pet the fish before he put it on the string.

Shortly after she pet the fish Reanna caught a fish on her pole.
10 minutes later she got the fish out of the water. She was a lucky girl and got to help her dad with his fish. Sadly it was to small so we had to put it back.
She also got to help uncle Sherrill with his fish. When it slowed down she wonted to see and pet the fish over and over. By the end of the fishing trip we had 9 fish. All of them had to be pet before they your put on the string.
There was lots of kids to play with all weekend. Robin and Kaylee loved to sit with there babies and watch everyone.
The kids loved to ride the 4-wheelers and if no one would take them the would pretend to take each other for a ride. (Reanna on the back bike and Brooklyn and Archer is on the first bike).
For Saturday we were making dutch oven roast with potatoes and carets but the rain would not corporate with us so we cooked in the carport. Fun times.
On one of the rainy afternoon Candy had all the kids that wonted to go into Grandma Rea's trailer and make fruit loop necklaces.
The best part about making the necklaces is they get to eat them when they are done. Except for Reanna she never got the fruit loops on the string before she ate them.
Saturday night we had a b-day party for one of Reanna's cousin Brinley. They had a very cute Barbie cake for her. Then we were watching a movie at 9:30pm and Reanna got so involved with the movie that she forgot she was eating the cake and almost dropped it in her lap.

Trever sitting by Brinley watching the movie. Trever is such a good uncle to Brinley.
Burke and Rea's Grand kids and Great Grand kids came in pairs. Burklee and Robin are about 2 months apart. They are getting so big.
We had lots of fun and can't wait for next year. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Today Wes had a race in Delta. His qualifying was to fast so he got put in the fastest group, it ended up being only Wes and one other guy. Wes was not to happy because the guy he had to race was one of the guys he raced last time and lost. But after fixing a problem with his bike he got 1st place in his race. The track is 300 feet. He ran the first race in 3.9 seconds and the second was 4.1 seconds. He was going a little over 80 mph. My boy loves his speed. By the end of summer don't be surprised to see me with gray hair. The next race in Delta is in July. He has a race in Mt Pleasant on June 27. We will keep you all informed on the biggest kid in the family.
